This system efficiently bags up to 400 bags per hour and can, of course, be extended by further connectors which enable bagging rates of up to 1,600 bags per hour.
We have implemented a very special innovation to enable the extreme residual emptying capacity. Hardly any product residue is left in the system, which means that for product changeover, the cleaning and downtimes are reduced by up to 80%. It goes without saying that the BVP 4.40 is constructed entirely in hygienic design for yet more efficiency.
For bags under 10 kg, the BVP 4.40 provides exact-calibration bagging, which renders the subsequent quality control a mere formality. Moreover, clear product savings are achieved in the bagging process as a result of this precision.
A basic prerequisite for effective valve sealing, is for the sack to be correctly attached to the filling spout. In some cases, inhomogeneous sack quality can lead to sacks being attached askew and consequently, not completely closed. The consequential issues of product leakage out onto pallets and possible pest infestations resulting from this, are absolutely unacceptable for all producers. Using the newly developed VALVO DETECT system, GREIF-VELOX detects whether a sack has been attached at an angle, not completely sealed and must therefore, be removed.
The effects are visible and measurable. This optical measuring process means that 100% of your sacks on pallets are reliably sealed.
The patented ultrasonic process for sealing sacks, our "waffle welding" sealing technique, provides a 60% higher tear-resistance for sack valves.
