Suitable filling processes for IBC filling

Below bunghole filling

Specially developed for closed containers where the liquid is supplied through a bunghole. This method is ideal for non-foaming and uncomplicated liquids and ensures precise filling.

Above level filling

Best for non-foaming, no-fuss products. The liquid is filled above the liquid level, ideal for open and closed containers.

Below level filling

Ideal for foaming products or if explosive gases can be generated during filling. The liquid is filled below the surface to prevent foaming and electrostatic charges.

The A-DOS-C from GREIF-VELOX is a state-of-the-art automatic filling system, designed for a production rate of up to 34 IBCs per hour. The operation of the system is characterized by its advanced technologies and user-friendly design, which together aim to significantly increase the efficiency and precision of the IBC filling processes.

In the A-DOS-C filling system, IBCs are automatically guided to the filling station, where precise control mechanisms automatically center the bunghole to ensure optimal positioning for the filling process.

This process includes opening, inerting - to ensure safety when filling reactive or sensitive substances - and precise filling of the liquids. Finally, the IBCs are securely closed and prepared for further transport, with the entire process being carried out under the highest safety and quality standards.

Fully automatic portal filling system A-DOS-P1

The A-DOS-P1 is a fully automatic portal filling system, developed for filling liquids into IBCs. With a capacity of up to 15 IBCs (1000 l) per hour, the system offers an efficient and safe solution for the chemical and petrochemical industries as well as for the food industry. The IBCs are automatically fed, opened, filled, closed and palletized.


Flexibility and adaptability: Suitable for a wide range of liquids, including foaming substances and adaptable for use in Ex areas Zone 1. The system offers high flexibility in the types of containers that can be filled.

Environmental protection and safety: Integrated inerting and overfill shutdown minimize the risk of environmental damage and protect employees.
